I ran stats on my personal sites.

Hi everyone,

It's a rainy today..

In my Blogger case, I constantly preview and check out my blog 2 or 3 times everyday.
Of course, on Wednesday it is more than the others day.  I usually try to post my topic until Sunday,
so there is no big movement of my posting day on my blog.
My pageviews of last month was 96 times.  I think it is not bad.  Most of my audiences are from the U.S
,and the others are from French, German,Japan, and SouthKorea.   As we know, it means they are my
classmates.  My page views by the main browser and operating system of my audiences are Safari and
Macintosh because I basically use Macintosh when I post on my blog and most of my audiences use
Windows. For sure, I previewed my blog the most times in our class.  My page views has been increasing
so far. It's inclinable.

In my Twitter case, I have 18 followers , and I'm following 25 people.
I've done tweet 16 times. These mean  I'm not a heavy Twitter user.  I think Twitter is more for notification
because of only limited words.  Most of the posting on my twitter are kind of advertisement.  Some of the
followers post many times every day, so my wall of it is fulfilled with the postings.
That is why I don't use my Twitter a lot, and it is more complicated how to utilize than such as Facebook.

Thanks everyone,

Have a great rest weekend!!

Ken.

  1. Hi Ken

    You check blogger every day?
I check it only when I post a blog and that’s it!
No one talks about Chrome, which is the browser I’m using…
I think I need to advertise Chrome!

    Yes… The company’s tweets…
Use the list to make things easier!

    Waiting for your next post!

Yes, I check our blogger everyday, just in case.

You check it only when you post on your blog. haha
But i think it's ok because it depends on us.

    Actually, I dont't know Chrome,,, It's browser..
    I see.

The company's tweets are sometimes too much,,
so those make me irritate.. bur I don't care.

    Thanks, Yasu,

  5. Hi Ken,

I think it's interesting to check our blog stats frequently because, in my opinion, we can evaluate the evolution of those statistics. and the same things are also important regarding the social networks we are using.
Moreover, we are currently doing this for a "personal" purpose but just think about the impact that those numbers and facts can have on a business. Now we don't just have to think "social media", we have to DO it !

    See you tomorrow !

  6. Hi Anne,

Thanks for your comment & advise.

Just do it, "Social media."!! haha Yes, that's right,,
We don't need to think of it in this modern society. It's essential.

Yeah, we should chase our transition of those statistics to analyze our way.

The impacts of those numbers and facts will be related to our business
as it is now without a big change. Your standpoint is well thought!

Anyway, it is good way to just engage in social media without hesitation..!

    Thanks,

    See you soon, Anne!

  7. Hi Ken,

thank you for the analyse of your stats.
Did you use such a social media before this class ?
And do you think you will keep using them after the class ?

As for you, I am not a big Twitter user, but I think this class shwed me how to use it and I think we have to make a small effort every day to tweet and in few days it becomes a habit !! So I think I will continue using Twitter even when the class will be over, as for LinkedIn, but for professionnal reasons.

    See you tonight,
    Perrine
