The Wonderful Professional Blogger, Lori!!

The spaker, Lori is  a really amazing blogger. She told us how to manage a blog and social network in terms of a professional. The whole story of her history which she spoke was all interesting.  We were addicted to her  story. I felt like she was an entertainer, so I might be able to say she is real professional. She gave us  from general information of social media to more details of social media. Especially, I was impressed with the details. For example, the wall background of a blog is white is better..  I had thought the white color is boring before I listened to it, but,,.  It’s very functional knowledge.  Fortunately, my wall color of it is white. It’s really simple, but easy to read I think.

She mentioned Twitter is agreat social network, in contrast Jeannette.  Actually, for me it is not so useful, but according to her, it depends on how to utilize Twitter, so I might change my mind or be changed my mind.  She carried conviction.

Lastly, she emphasized “ Don’t be afraid and hesitate to engage in social media.”  If you follow am appropriate way to use a social network, you do not need to care about anyone who criticizes you. That is right. Sometimes we have to have a strong confidence if you think I stay on the course to do not only social network but anything.

Lori, Thank you for coming to our class to lecture about social media and tell us your very exciting stories. I had a really good time with you!!

My Case Study.

Hi everyone,

I hope you all guys are spending a great time on this weekend, but today it's a rainy day,,

Our team case study was about National Geographic. It was a fun source, but on the other hand, it is included various serious contents which we have to make the earth good condition.  National Geographic uses 7 Social Media mediums : Facebook, My space, You tube, Twitter, Flickr, Blogging, and Widgets to provide their information

As we can guess, FB is the best organized social network of them I felt because it includes the general whole contents and segments, such as pictures, posting, and good interaction. Besides, I get used to using it is one of the reasons. Even though Fb is the best social network for me in Nat Geo's, some of the others are also good systematized. For example, Flickr is very simple to understand their contents. They focus on pictures. They provide each subject, and the each subject has a lot of nature photos is likely to be more fun than others.  One more example, Widgets, their segments are mainly animals, environments, and green guide. I think it deals with a more serious themes compare to others. Generally, their contents are what is going on in the earth, and they show its situation on their videos more than pictures. It's also well organized. As a result, I thought each social media has some good points and features, therefore, it's not bad to have some social media tools for any organization because how we think of each social media medium depends on me and you!!

I ran stats on my personal sites.

Hi everyone,

It's a rainy today..

In my Blogger case, I constantly preview and check out my blog 2 or 3 times everyday.
Of course, on Wednesday it is more than the others day.  I usually try to post my topic until Sunday,
so there is no big movement of my posting day on my blog.
My pageviews of last month was 96 times.  I think it is not bad.  Most of my audiences are from the U.S
,and the others are from French, German,Japan, and SouthKorea.   As we know, it means they are my
classmates.  My page views by the main browser and operating system of my audiences are Safari and
Macintosh because I basically use Macintosh when I post on my blog and most of my audiences use
Windows. For sure, I previewed my blog the most times in our class.  My page views has been increasing
so far. It's inclinable.

In my Twitter case, I have 18 followers , and I'm following 25 people.
I've done tweet 16 times. These mean  I'm not a heavy Twitter user.  I think Twitter is more for notification
because of only limited words.  Most of the posting on my twitter are kind of advertisement.  Some of the
followers post many times every day, so my wall of it is fulfilled with the postings.
That is why I don't use my Twitter a lot, and it is more complicated how to utilize than such as Facebook.

My summary of my findings on my personal blog.

Hi classmates,

Are you ready to masquerade on Halloween day!?

How will I measure my return on investment ?

In my blog case, of course, how many response I get for my post is primary. Most readers don't response to it, just read the post because they don't have enough time to response to all and reading other posts takes long time. Now our class has about 25 students, so for me one or two response to my post is enough.  Three responses are great. If one classmate response to it, other classmates may be interested in my post. Then, it is more likely to get more responses from other classmates, so how many response is important. I may be able to say at least my classmates who response to my post concern about my brand.

Next, timeliness is valuable. If a classmate response to my post immediately, I think something is good with my post. I may be able to consider the classmate want to tell me something valuable.

The last measurement is how many word in a response a classmate post on my blog.  It surely depends on a situation, however, basically we measure more words are better because more words equal more information and details. Information and details can be profitable.

On the other hand, if I get a negative response, its reputation may spread rapidly. That's why also many responses and words and timeliness can be a disadvantage for my brand.

These all are just my ideas or image!?  Actually, I don't know these exactly.

My interest and topic.

Hello classmates,

Are you having fun on this weekend!? I hope so!

This time, I am going to mention my interest and topic is the global warming, so
my question is "What is global warming and greenhouse gas?"

I've already known the major reason of global warming is caused by greenhouse gas,
but I didn't know what is cause of greenhouse gas exactly.

Cause of global warming can be divided into three groups : air pollution, water pollution, and
destruction of environment.

As is well known air pollution is one of the large issues. Smoke exhaust of industrial
establishment increases around the same time that development of the economy.

Water pollution is also one of the major issues. Sewage contamination is a large question.
People aspire improvement in their living standards according to natural growth of  
population because people often has competitive consciousness. Cooking and laundry make
much living drainage.

         Global warming is deeply committed to nature.  Nevertheless, people carry on the destruction
         of the environment. People do forest destruction in order to do estate development. 

         For instance, they have built a lot of houses and apartments. Also, they have done the development

         of golf courses for their business and amusement. 

        

         I  picked up some of sources which I learned. 

         Why is this topic valuable for me?  Because I'm interested in eco-friendly goods and recycling, 

         so I want to work on to conduct environmental conservation activities after I go back to Japan.

        

         I think global warming is one of huge problems in the world, so not only I also all people should

         boost awareness of ecology to protect the earth.

Hi classmates,

Did you have a great weekend!?

Finally I created my VLOG,,    Actually, this is my first time to create my self-introduction video.

Honestly, it was a tough work for me because I didn't know what my history was the best to introduce
me by myself.

My challenges were that I explained my job experience simply and correctly and I expressed
my natural character without inflated self-image.

I enjoyed to reexamine myself. so this was a good chance for me and my future.
